Delores Lorraine (Carbaugh) Perrott, 83, of Hagerstown passed away on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born Nov. 4, 1929, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Leroy and Margaret Virginia (Jones) Carbaugh.

She was a member of Presbyterian Church of Falling Waters, W.Va.

Delores retired as a crossing guard for the Washington County Board of Education.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, William Jacob Perrott; four children, Samual R. Perrott Sr. of Elyia, Ohio, and Dixie L. Myers, Robert L. Perrott and Hallie C. Stotler, all of Hagerstown; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Carbaugh of Hagerstown; two sisters, Vivian Robinson of Waynesboro and Arvella Harper of West Virginia; and her loving dog, Lucy.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, William J, Perrott Jr.; a sister, Patsy Stover; and a great-granddaughter, Misty Myers.


A funeral service will be conducted at noon on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor John Cushwa officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday evening.

Family and friends are welcome to join together at the Redmen Club in Williamsport following the burial.
