C.J. Witt played the role of C.B. in the “Dog Sees God — Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead” play over the weekend at Martinsburg (W.Va.) High School. Students from area high schools worked together to put on the school edition of the play, which is an unauthorized parody of the iconic “Peanuts” characters. It follows C.B. as he seeks out a deeper meaning to life in a world where he is surrounded by a never-ending list of teen issues, including drugs, alcohol, teen pregnancy, suicide, and the bullying and harassment of gay and lesbian youth. The production kicked off National Suicide Prevention Week and featured a variety of guest speakers to address the issues of bullying and suicide.
