ST. THOMAS, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police are seeking information about a barn fire that investigators say was intentionally set.
Crews were dispatched at about 1 a.m. Wednesday to the fire at 3054 Coldsmith Road in St. Thomas Township, police said in a news release.
The fire destroyed the barn and its contents, and it damaged several outbuildings, police said.
Police said they determined through evidence at the scene and interviews that the fire was the result of arson.
The owner of the barn and its contents is Daniel E. Brechbill of Greencastle, Pa., while the hay contained in the building belonged to Charles Eichelberger Jr. of Greencastle, police said.
