Tristan Prejean receives $10,000 Grumman scholarship

Tristan Prejean, a recent graduate of Heritage Academy, was named the Washington County winner in the 11th annual Northrop Grumman Engineering Scholars competition.

The statewide scholarship program is aimed at supporting promising high school seniors who intend to pursue a career in an engineering-related field.

Tristan received a merit-based scholarship of $10,000 during an awards reception and dinner hosted by Northrop Grumman on June 24.  

Tristan intends to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Maryland in College Park.
