David Paul McKee, 56, of Clear Spring, Md., passed away Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.

Born Sept. 19, 1956, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Bernice G. Kitchen McKee and the late David T. McKee.

David attended Williamsport High School, and was a former member of Broadfording Church of the Brethren.

He was a carpenter by trade.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, motorcycle rider and horseback rider, and loved playing drums.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by his fiancee, Susan Pander of Clear Spring; a daughter, Amy Clipp of Williamsport, Md.; a sister, Davene M. Wolfe and husband, Robert, of Harrisonburg, Va.; a grandson, Sheehan Clipp; a granddaughter, Serenity Clipp; best friends, Steve and Barbara Arnsparger; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, with Pastor Fisler of Grace Bible Church officiating.

A celebration of life service will be Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at 5 p.m. at the Wilson Ruritan Events Building near Huyetts Crossroads.
