Class of 1993 planning reunion

The Boonsboro High School Class of 1993 will hold its 20th class reunion Saturday at Boonsboro American Legion Post 10.   

Tickets will be available at the door for $25 per person.  

Social hour will be from 6 to 7 p.m., which will be followed by dinner, dancing and dessert.

First Friday 

Trinity Lutheran Church, 64 S. Main St., will revive its First Friday Fellowship events after the summer break.  

The community is invited for a meal and conversation Friday, Sept. 6, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring a covered dish to share.

Indoor yard sale

Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ on South Potomac Street will hold an indoor yard sale and food sale Friday, Sept. 6, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The menu includes country ham sandwiches, homemade soup, baked goods and candy.  In addition, Rada Cutlery, Artisan II cookbooks and Boonsboro prints will be sold.

Tables to rent for $10 are available for the yard sale.

Remembrance Parade

The deadline is Sept. 8 for civic and social groups to register for participation in the Remembrance Parade for those lost on Sept. 11, 2001.  

The parade, sponsored by First Hose Co. of Boonsboro, will take place on Main Street on Wednesday, Sept. 11, beginning  at the school complex at 5:30 p.m.

Bible lessons

Mount Nebo United Methodist Church in Boonsboro will hold Bible lessons and discussions for all ages on Sunday evenings, beginning Sunday, Sept. 15.  

The activities begin at 6 p.m. and will include crafts, games and snacks for children, a youth program for those in grades six to 12, and several adult classes from which to choose.  

The church is at 134 S. Main St.
