Cub Scout information sessions offered in W.Va.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — The Potomac District of the Boy Scouts of America invites first- through fifth-grade boys to join the Cub Scouts.

Cub Scouting offers fun and challenging experiences that boys and parents can do together, including learning how to put up a tent, swim, care for animals and use hand tools to complete small projects.

Information sessions are being offered at the following times and places:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 3: Mountain Ridge Intermediate School, 2691 Gerrardstown Road, Gerrardstown, W.Va., 6:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 3: Mill Creek Intermediate School, 8785 Winchester Ave., Bunker Hill, W.Va., 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday Sept. 4: Widmyer Elementary School, 10 Myers Road, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursday Sept. 5: Winchester Avenue Elementary School, 650 Winchester Ave., Martinsburg, 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursday Sept. 5: Potomack Intermediate School, 5308 Williamsport Pike, Martinsburg, 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 10: Pleasant View Elementary School, 10500 Martinsburg Road, Hedgesville, W.Va., 5:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 11: Eagle School Intermediate, 730 Eagle School Road, Martinsburg, 6:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 11: Orchard View Intermediate School, 1455 Delmar Orchard Road, Martinsburg, 7 p.m.
