City announces winners of inaugural golf tournament

The City of Hagerstown’s Parks and Recreation Division announced the 2013 winners of the inaugural City Championship Golf Tournament at the Greens at Hamilton Run Golf Course.

The event took place Aug. 16 with 28 golfers participating.

The winners are as follows:

  • 2013 city champion first-flight: Ken Lampard
  • Second-flight winner: Jeremy Butts
  • Third-flight winner: Steve Fisher

The tournament included 18 holes of golf, lunch, refreshments and prizes. In addition, golfers participated in several contests, including closest to the pin and longest drive. 

The Greens at Hamilton Run is nine-hole golf course owned and operated by the City of Hagerstown. The course offers affordable pricing, a new clubhouse with concessions, and no tee times are required to play.
