Fitness class reinforces healthy lifestyles for children

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — A fitness program designed for children to encourage healthy lifestyles through exercise and movement will take place this fall.

Fitness Fun for Kids will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from Sept. 17 to Nov. 21, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Results Therapy and Fitness, an affiliate of Summit Health, at 1600 Orchard Drive in Chambersburg.

The class  is open to those ages 7 to 11, and parents must attend with their children.

Children will learn physical activities and games, how to reduce the chance of injuries, and proper movement mechanics as part of the program.

The class costs $15, which will be reimbursed upon completion of the program.

Space is limited and registration is required.
