Missing hearing-impaired boy found along Frederick Street

A 12-year-old, hearing-impaired boy who had been reported missing earlier Tuesday, was found along Frederick Street at 8:18 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office had sought public assistance in finding the boy, who had last been seen around 10 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Rose Hill Avenue in Hagerstown’s South End.

Kendre Daymon White was reported missing at about 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

A Washington County 911 supervisor said White was found unharmed as he appeared to be walking home.

The sheriff’s office thanked the community for its assistance in finding the boy.
