Nathan Calvin Bridendolph Sr., 59, of Williamsport, Md., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md.

Born Nov. 28, 1953, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of Ethel Mae Bridendolph McCarty of Clear Spring, Md.

He retired from First Energy Corp.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ronald McCarty.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Bridendolph; two sons, Nathan Bridendolph Jr. and wife, Gretchen, of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Adam Bridendolph and Stephanie Pulver of Hagerstown; two sisters, Cathy Beach of Falling Waters and Mary Chaney of Clear Spring; two brothers, Kevin Zittle of Anacoco, La. and Shane McCarty of State Line, Pa.; and was expecting two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Associate Pastor Kevin Smoot will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
