1. C&O Canal Days at Cushwa Basin
C&O Canal National Historical Park celebrates C&O Canal heritage on Saturday, Aug. 24, and Sunday, Aug. 25. Activities include: visitor center and trolley barn open; nature display at trolley barn; visits to Lock House 44; canal boat tours; and canal dress up and photo time in the trolley barn; “Meet the Mules” on Saturday; canal music by Matthew Dodd on Sunday; and canal family reunion at the trolley barn on Sunday. Activities take place at or near C&O Canal Cushwa Basin visitor center, 205 W. Potomac St., Williamsport. Call 301-582-0813.

2. Book signing

3. Student art show

4. French and Indian War muster
