Rouzerfest organizers promise 'family fun at its best'

ROUZERVILLE, Pa. — Activities, food and craft sales are on tap for the ninth annual Rouzerfest, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Red Run Park off Pa. 16 in Rouzerville. The site is near Walmart.

Organizers are promising “family fun at its best” with pony rides and train rides on the Red Run Express.

They’ve scheduled face-painting, balloon art, hair braiding and Zumba exercise.

Several children’s activities are free.

A car cruise-in-style show will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nickel bingo will be played from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fire safety demos and free blood pressure screenings will be offered from the Blue Ridge Fire & Rescue Co.

Food includes breakfast items, ice cream, burgers, funnel cakes and French fries.
