Martinsburg police arrest six in connection with drug investigations

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Martinsburg police on Friday announced the arrest of six men in connection with drug investigations by the agency and the Eastern Panhandle Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.

Martinsburg police Detective J.D. Luciano said in a news release that warrants were served on the following individuals over the past week:

• Kendall A. Carr, 39, who turned himself into police on Friday, was charged with three counts of distribution of marijuana. 

• Bradley M. Gardner Jr., 32, was charged with three counts of distribution of marijuana.

• Jeffrey L. Potter, 27, was charged with distribution of heroin.

• Joseph M. Campbell, 24, was charged with distribution of LSD.

• James L. Sanford, 28, was charged with distribution of crack cocaine.

• Michael P. Mulvihill, no age provided, was charged with distribution of heroin.

The police department was assisted in making the arrests by members of the drug and violent crime task force, the Mountain State Fugitive Recovery Task Force and West Virginia State Police.
