1. Pop a cork!

Pop a Cork for The Capitol is a fundraiser featuring Pennsylvania wineries, live entertainment, food, vendors and more. Noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, inside and outside of Capitol Theatre Center, 159 S. Main St., downtown Chambersburg, Pa. $14, in advance; $17 at the door.  2. Last day for storytelling

Renfrew Institute hosts storytelling for children in preschool and older, accompanied by an adult , under the tree near the visitors center. 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, at Renfrew Museum and Park, 1010 E. 3. Gospel concert
