BOONSBORO — The Yellow House hosted Guest Bartender Night and all tips were donated to the charity of choice of the guest bartender who raised the most funds.

Guest bartender Wink Suder won the challenge and chose Hospice of Washington County to receive the funds.

Yellow House owners Lou and Debbie Thomas also chose Hospice earlier this year as the beneficiary of the Food and Beverage Foundation’s golf tournament.

“We are so grateful for their generosity and support,” said Cheryl Brown, development director for Hospice. “The funds will be used to provide care to the patients and families that we serve on a daily basis.”

Hospice serves 250 patients in the county. It also provides grief and bereavement services to anyone in the community suffering from a loss, at no charge.

Groups interested in hosting a fundraiser may call Brown at 301-791-6360 or download a fundraising proposal form at www.hospiceofwc.org.
