Back-to-school night planned at Potterfield Pool

A back-to-school night will be held Wednesday, Aug. 14, starting at 7 p.m. at Potterfield Pool.

The event will include a poolside movie for the community.

A large, inflatable movie screen showing of Disney’s “Teen Beach Movie” will begin at 8 p.m.

Admission costs $4; a family rate of $12 is available for families with up to five members. The event is free for those ages 4 and younger. Admission costs $3 for those ages 5 to 12, and those 62 and older. 

Organizers encourage attendees to bring their own rafts.

Concessions will be available.

The event is presented by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department and supported by Leitersburg Cinemas.

The city pool is off Frederick Street in Hagerstown, near the board of education office.
