Kristofor Tolley received one of the many balloon animals made by clown Ron Kurtz when the Tri-State Civitan Club held its annual picnic for the developmentally disabled and their families/caregivers at The Improved Order of Red Men Tribe 84 in Williamsport.

DJ Bobby Hayes provided the music for karaoke and dancing. Tattoos and face painting were featured activities, and the Antietam ice cream truck was a welcome treat.

The club served 200 meals.

The club meets the second Monday of every month at 6 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church on the corner of North Potomac Street and Randolph Avenue in Hagerstown.

The club’s focus is on helping individuals with developmental disabilities.

Those interested are welcome to join. For more information, call Carolyn Blitz at 301-745-8917 or send an email to cmblitz@myactv.net.
