A person was stabbed Saturday afternoon in the unit block of Murph Avenue in Hagerstown, the Hagerstown Police Department said.
Police were notified of the stabbing, which happened at about 1 p.m. The victim already had been taken to Meritus Medical Center to be treated for nonlife-threatening injuries, Sgt. Christopher Barnett said in a news release.
Officers and detectives responded to the hospital to talk to the victim, who was uncooperative, Barnett said.
No information was released about the victim or potential suspects in the stabbing. The investigation is ongoing.
Murph Avenue is between Jonathan Street and Henry Avenue.
