MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A fire struck Fat Tuesdays Grille and Bar in Martinsburg early Thursday.

The fire at the 1211 N. Queen St. restaurant that serves Cajun-style food damaged the roof and the building’s attic, according to Lt. Jason Hoover of the Martinsburg Fire Department.

Hoover said the cause of the blaze, which broke out at 12:51 a.m., had not been determined by Thursday afternoon.

He said there was no damage estimate.

It took firefighters a little more than half an hour to bring the blaze under control.

Family members were on the scene late Thursday morning. They declined to comment.
