Cyclists donate $5.600 to Franklin County breast cancer programs

Members of the Franklin County Cyclists made donations totaling $5,600 to the Rhonda Brake Shreiner Women’s Center and the Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance following the group’s third annual Franklin County Metric Century, held June 22.

This was the third annual ride, and the group’s third donation to support breast cancer programs in the Franklin County area.

More than 160 bicyclists road through Franklin County on routes totaling 12, 18, 42, and 62 miles to benefit the two area breast cancer programs.

Next year’s event will be held June 21, 2014.
