1. Old Home Week opens
A week of historic and cultural celebrations of Greencastle, Pa., begins Saturday, Aug. 3. Activities on the square include the official opening, 11:30 a.m.; a motorcycle show, 2 to 7 p.m. Downtown Greencastle, Pa. For a complete schedule, go to

2. Canal launch boats
Interpretive C&O Canal launch boat programs will be offered throughout the summer. 10:30 a.m., 12:15, 1:30 and 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Saturday, Aug. 17. C&O Canal visitor center, 205 W. Potomac St., Williamsport. Stop by the visitor center to sign up. Call 301-582-0813.

3. Rock the Forge

4. Student musical
