MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A man wearing a ghillie suit and carrying what appeared to be a shotgun robbed the Sheetz convenience store Monday morning at 14686 Apple Harvest Drive near Martinsburg, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office said.

The man walked into the store at about 4:55 a.m. and demanded money from the cashier before he fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

Deputies said the robber was a white male with blue eyes. He was about 6-feet, 2-inches tall, and was wearing a full-body ghillie suit and a green face mask.

A ghillie suit is camouflage clothing designed to resemble heavy foliage.
