1. Bluegrass concert

2. Old Opera House Summer Arts Soiree

The opening gala for the Arts Soiree will include hors d’oeuvres, wine and acoustic folk-rock by Betty Jo and Scott Rockwell. Artwork on display will include photographs, glass work, paintings and wood turning, above. Gala from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2; exhibit continues 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3. 3. River Knot

4. Car show

Open to all cars, trucks and motorcycles. Trophies have been professional made from engine parts. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Grace Brethren Church, 315 S.
