Philip and Bernice Michael celebrate 50 years

On July 19, 2013, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Anthony Michael celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. 
Married July 19, 1963, in the Evangelical United Brethren Church of Winchester, Va., the Michaels have lived in Leitersburg, and Halfway; and in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and Falling Waters, W.Va., where they currently reside.
The Michaels have three children: Annette Dubert of Fort Washington, Md.; her twin brother, Anthony Michael of Albuquerque, N.M.; and Dana Given of Nashville, Tenn. They also have three grandsons: Phillip Given, Nicholas Given and Alexander Michael. 
Mr. Michael retired in 2006 from Mack Trucks, Inc., in Hagerstown, after 43 years of service. He now enjoys his primary passions of golfing and hunting. 
Mrs. Michael loves working in her flowerbeds, decorating and entertaining in their new home. Both are active in ministry at their church in Hagerstown, Keepers of the Flame.
The couple and their children celebrated the momentous occasion with a family dinner and weekend together.
