Robert “Bob” Carrol Brezler passed away on July 10, 2013, after a yearlong battle with cancer.

Born in Hagerstown, Md., on Dec. 5, 1954, he grew up loving God, family and country.

Bob married his beloved, Virginia, in 1986. They have one daughter, Mary Lemay. In 1996, the family moved to Washington state.

Bob is survived by his wife and daughter; his parents, David Edward Brezler and Sylvia Dolores Fogle; stepmother, Nancy; brothers, David and Randy; sister, Laura; half brother, Chris; and step siblings, Mark and Brenda. He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Donald Fogle.

In service to the Lord, Bob joined Holy Trinity Church and became a Eucharistic minister. He joined the Knights of Columbus and loved hunting and fishing, enjoying those pursuits best with close family.

Following many challenges and a full working life, he participated in the Business Enterprise Program through the Washington State Department of Services for the Blind and managed a snacks stand in Seattle.

Services were held in Bremerton, Wash., last week. In memoriam, Bob requested that donations be given to: BEP Department of Services for the Blind, P.O. Box 40933, Olympia WA 96504-0933 IMO Robert Brezler.
