Anna Elsie (Clark) Williams went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 21, 2013, with her daughter by her side.

Born Nov. 22, 1924, in Martinsburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Harry F. Clark and Elizabeth (Barnes) Clark Green. She was also the stepdaughter of John K. Green and Margie (Timmons) Clark.

She was a baptized member of Church of Christ in Hagerstown, 10014 Whitehall Road.

She retired from Fairchild Aircraft in 1989. During several layoff periods, she was employed by Washington County Hospital in the housekeeping department.

She was a member of United Auto Workers Local 842 and the Fairchild Old-Timers Club.

She is survived by one daughter, Carrie Naomi Mefford and husband, Fred, of Falling Waters, W.Va.; two grandsons, James F. Paul and wife, Carla, of Chambersburg, Pa., and Michael W. Paul and wife, Kristine, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; seven great-grandchildren; four half sisters, Helen Kern of Inwood, W.Va., Rose Penwell and Carolyn Wise of Martinsburg, and Linda Pennington of Hedgesville, W.Va.; three half brothers, Roger Clark of Martinsburg, and Roy Clark and Johnny Clark of Inwood.

Besides her parents and stepparents, she was preceded in death by infant grandson, Billy Joe Paul; infant sister, Pearl G. Clark; sister, Dorothy V. Miles; half sisters, Anna Jacobs, Edith Clark and Evelyn Starliper; and two half brothers, Ernest and Harry Clark.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, Md. Joe Saunders will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
