Letter to the Editor - July 18

July 18, 2013

God will hold accountable those who reject Him

To the editor:

In response to a recent letter (“Prejudice of the few should not penalize pursuits of others,” July 11), the war for equality is not a war on equality, but for Christians and God a war that man started between God’s laws and man’s rebellion. We Christians do love you and hope that you someday will seek to correct your action and heart with God. But we can only explain to you that the path anyone takes that is contrary to the word of our creator is sin. All sin is equal with God and not repented of is death. When you reject Christ, you will need to answer for it. As Christians, we are only reminding you that there is a God, and as any being there must be rules to follow. You have a free will to do whatever you want, but your creator will hold you accountable.

You say that Christians cause you pain. You call us ignorant, but we only inform you of the truth. We love you enough to warn you that there will be an eternal result for your actions. You have the right to reject our words, as we have the right to reject your words. You want to silence us so you can try to convince the rest of the world that this is an equality battle. Believe what you want, but Christians will continue to speak the will of our creator. Understand that God has commanded Christians to speak out against anything contrary to the word of God.

I agree that all men have a basic right given by God to express their opinion. But remember, only you will answer if it is not right by God. I care little about what you or governments say when it doesn’t line up to God’s word. I fear no man but will always try to follow God’s word.

Please respect my God-given right as I respect yours.
