July 18, 2013

The medical condition of a Hancock man who was injured earlier this month in a motorcycle accident on U.S. 40 has been upgraded.

The condition of Christopher Elwood Hull, 20, was  changed from critical to serious condition at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, a hospital spokeswoman said Thursday.

He had been listed in critical condition earlier this week.

Hull lost control of a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle on July 6 as he was heading west on U.S. 40 near Beaver Creek Road, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said at the time.

Hull was taken to Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown, then transferred to the shock trauma center, the  sheriff’s office said.
