Music by the Lake

The Music by the Lake concert series will continue Saturday at the City Park band shell, starting at 7 p.m.

The concert series features a variety of regional acts. 

The concerts are co-sponsored by the Washington County Arts Council and the City of Hagerstown.

Storyfest in the Park

Washington County Free Library will host Storyfest in the Park Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m.  at the band shell in City Park in Hagerstown.

The afternoon of storytelling will feature storytellers Ann Griffith, Diane Macklin and Jon Spelman.

The event is free.

Summer movies

Valley Mall Regal Cinemas at Valley Mall will show Dr. Seuss’ “Lorax” (rated PG) and “Big Miracle” (rated PG) on Tuesday, July 23, and Wednesday, July 24, at beginning at 10 a.m. Admission costs $1.

Gospel concert

A gospel music concert will be held Wednesday, July 24, at the band shell at City Park in Hagerstown.
Souled Out is scheduled to perform at 7 p.m.

Story time at mall

On Thursday, July 25, children will have an opportunity to participate in interactive stories, songs and crafts while learning all about gardening.

The event is geared for those ages 2 to 8.

It will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Macy’s Court area at Valley Mall.
