Dorothy Mae "Dottie" Wilt, 76, of Mapleville Road in Boonsboro, Md., passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at her home.

Born April 14, 1937, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late Earl E. and Doris E. (Saum) Beattie.

She was a graduate of Hagerstown High School.

She was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church in Williamsport, Md.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Glenn D. Wilt, whom she married April 3, 1954; four daughters, Debra Bolden and husband, Ron, Brenda Williams, Pamela Estep, and Christie Poffenberger and husband, Scot; one son, Brent Wilt and wife, Shannon; grandchildren, Ashley, Brittney, Seth, Trevor and Stevie; stepgrandchildren, Nick and Michelle; brothers, Mike Beattie and wife, Ginger, and Roy Lescalleet and wife, Kristi; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Steven Estep.

A memorial service will be Friday July 19, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Rehoboth United Methodist Church, Williamsport, with Associate Pastor Kevin Smoot officiating.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Dottie to Rehoboth United Methodist Church, 30 E. Salisbury St., Williamsport, MD 21795.
