LEGION BASEBALL

WOODSBORO, Md.— Funkstown Post 211 used a four-run first inning and a four-hit pitching performance by Ryan Kinter to get past Woodsboro Post 282 5-3 in a Western Maryland District game on Monday.

Zach Lucas hit a two-run home run and Brandon Toloso, Brad Enfield and Charles Cvijanovich each added two hits for Funkstown (18-5, 9-2).
