Washington, D.C., man wanted in fatal shooting is captured in Martinsburg

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A Washington D.C. man charged in the June 22 fatal shooting of another man in Washington was captured in Martinsburg last Thursday by U.S. Marshals and West Virginia State Police.

Don Demichie Page, 23, was taken into custody without incident at a residence along Electra Court, the U.S. Marshals Service announced Monday

Electra Court is off Shasta Lane is near Hack Wilson Way.

A warrant charging Page with first degree murder while armed in the shooting of Quentin L. White in the 3500 block of East Capitol Street Southeast was issued July 3, according to court documents. 

Authorities said Page fled to the Martinsburg area from Washington after the shooting, according to the U.S. Marshals Service announcement.

The U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Task Force requested assistance from the Mountain State Fugitive Task Force in apprehending Page last Wednesday, according to the announcement.
