Missing Williamsport man found in Braxton County, W.Va.

An 83-year-old Williamsport man who had been reported missing since Monday morning was found Monday evening along Interstate 79 in Braxton County, W.Va., emergency services officials said.

Robert Ray Hull was fine after he ran out of gas and was found along southbound I-79, outside Servia, W.Va., according to a Braxton County 911 dispatcher.

Servia is about 50 miles northeast of Charleston, W.Va.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office got a report at 7:20 p.m. Monday night that the Braxton County Sheriff’s Department had found Hull, police said.

Hull possibly suffers from dementia, a Washington County Sheriff’s Office news release said.

The local sheriff’s office received a report Monday that Hull had driven away from his home in his silver 2010 Hyundai Elantra around 11 a.m. Monday, the release said.
