Charlotte Ann Kidwiler, 92, of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Shenandoah Center in Charles Town, W.Va.

Born March 21, 1921, in Bakerton, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late George C. and Virginia Flood Morrison.

Charlotte was a loving mother, a long-standing member of Uvilla United Methodist Church and an accomplished seamstress who made clothes for her daughters during their school years.

Charlotte is survived by three daughters, Judy Ficklin and husband, Jerry, of Shepherdstown, W.Va., Myna Wandless and husband, Steve, of Shepherdstown, and Linda Halter and husband, Rick, of Shepherdstown; one son, Emory Kidwiler and wife, Patricia, of Harpers Ferry; six grandchildren, Dee Ficklin, Jerry Ficklin II, Mylene Wandless Billmyer, Marla Wandless Tennant, Ronald Kidwiler and Wayne Kidwiler; 10 great-grandchildren, Zachary and Tyler Ficklin, Danielle Smith, Ryan and Holly Kidwiler, Corey McDonald, Elicia Elkins, Casey Billmyer, Stephanie Craze Freeman and Jeffery Craze; three great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Frances Jean Hoffman of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Naomi Baker of Shelley, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Harwood E. "Woody" Kidwiler, in June 2011; three brothers, Dudley, Robert and Strother Morrison; and two sisters, Elizabeth Mahoney and Kathryn Houser. 

Services will be Friday, July 12, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, with the Rev. Parker Hinzman officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Shepherdstown.

The family will receive friends Friday one hour before the service at the funeral home.
