Kerr, Rudisill receive Alsatia Club scholarships

The Alsatia Club Foundation announced the awarding of two scholarships to graduating Washington County seniors.

Amanda Kerr from Boonsboro High School was awarded a $500 scholarship.

Amanda is the daughter of Alan Kerr and Caren Cramer of Rohrersville. Amanda plans to attend Northeastern University and major in environmental science. She wants to work in the conservation field.

Also receiving a $500 scholarship was Natalie Rudisill from Williamsport High School.

Natalie is the daughter of Douglas Rudisill and Pamela Leake of Williamsport.

Natalie plans to attend University of Maryland, Baltimore County and major in mechanical enginneering. She plans to work as an engineer.

The foundation is a local nonprofit community/civic based organization with goals of helping promote local students and community events.
