Battle of Hagerstown

Tours of Hagerstown will be held to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Hagerstown during the Civil War. The 90-minute tours are today at noon, 3 and 6 p.m. and cover about 1 1/2 miles. Meet in front of the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Public Square, Hagerstown. C&O Canal launch boat

Interpretive C&O Canal launch boat programs will be offered throughout the summer. Saturdays and Sundays through Saturday, Aug. 17, 10:30 a.m., 12:15, 1:30 and 3 p.m. C&O Canal, 205 W. Potomac St., Williamsport. Stop by the visitor center to sign up. Call 301-582-0813.

Salute to Independence
