Commission on Aging will offer AARP driver-safety program

The Washington County Commission on Aging will offer its AARP driver-safety program at two locations.

It will be held at Ravenwood Assisted Living, 1158 Luther Drive in Hagerstown, on Wednesday, July 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The instructor will be William Baschke Jr.

It will be held Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home, 8507 Mapleville Road in Boonsboro. The instructor will be Baschke.

The class is designed to help drivers improve their skills.

The course costs $12 per person for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers.

Checks should be made payable to AARP.
