The United States Achievement Academy announced that Kyle S. Schoen of Fort Littleton, Pa., was named an U.S. National Leadership and Service Award Winner.

He will appear in the U.S. Achievement Academy’s yearbook, which is published nationally.

The award is an honor few students attain. In fact, the Academy recognizes fewer than 10 percent of all American high school students.

Kyle is a member of the National Honor Society. He is also active in the Drama Club’s musical production holding lead roles while also earning multiple varsity letters in three sports while maintaining a consistently high grade-point average in an honors and/or academic curriculum.

Kyle is the son of Damon and Melanie Schoen of Fort Littleton and grandson of Betty Brumbaugh of McConnellsburg Pa.

Kyle will be a senior at Forbes Road Junior Senior High School in Waterfall, Pa.

Ava Rose Paul of Hagerstown has been accepted into the U.S. Achievement Academy, part of the “Who’s Who Among All-American Scholars.”
