Henrietta Alberta Kuhn, 89, of Colonial Park in Hagerstown, Md., passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, June 26, 2013.

Born in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Henry W. White Sr. and Harriette G. White.

Henrietta was the devoted wife of Bernard Lee Kuhn, who passed away in July 1986.

She was a member of Black Rock Bible Church.

She attended Washington Bible College and Hagerstown Community College.

Henrietta also taught adult reading through the Literacy Council of Washington County and was a volunteer at Mount Hope Prison Ministry in Hagerstown.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Marietta L. Sinn and JoAnn M. Eichelberger; and her brother, Henry W. White Jr.

She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela L. Johnston and husband, Charles, and Patricia L. Crist, both of Hagerstown. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Lynley L. Higgins and husband, Robert, Tina M. McVicker, Jason S. Crist, Betty A. Hill and husband, Roger, and Robert L. Johnston.

She was lovingly known as "G.G." (great-grandmother) by her 10 great-grandchildren, Sean and Elisabeth Crist; Lauren, Collin, Eryn and Evan McVicker; and Sarah, Benjamin, Daniel and Bethany Higgins.

A memorial service in celebration of her life will be Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Black Rock Bible Church, 9646 Crystal Falls Drive, Hagerstown, with Pastor Matthew Robinson officiating.

Graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
