Golf tourney slated for July 12

The 23rd annual Hagerstown-Washington County Commerce Cup Golf Tournament will be Friday, July 12, at Black Rock Golf Course.

Registration starts at 7:30 a.m., and the shotgun start takes place at 8:30 a.m.

The tournament provides an opportunity to entertain clients and promote your business in a relaxed setting.

The tournament is open to every level of golfer, and offers a day of business networking, socializing and fun.

The tournament format is a scramble/best ball with three flights.

The entry fee is $75 for individuals or $300 for a team if registered by Sunday. After Sunday, the entry fee will be $85 for individuals or $340 per foursome. 

The entry fee includes coffee and doughnuts at registration, 18 holes of golf (including cart), soft drinks and beer served all day, and a meal after the tournament. There also will be several prize giveaways. The meal at the turn will be provided by Jimmy John’s of Hagerstown.

There are sponsorship opportunities for major sponsors, beverage sponsor, putting contest sponsor and hole-in-one contest.
