Wearing chains on their wrists and ankles, four more alleged gang members charged in an indictment earlier this month with engaging in a gun battle in the Jonathan Street area in April appeared Thursday in Washington County Circuit Court for a second day of bond review hearings.

On Wednesday, similar hearings were also held for five men and two juveniles who were charged as adults in connection with the case.

All of those charged were taken into custody this week after being indicted earlier this month, Washington County Deputy State’s Attorney Steve Kessell said Wednesday.

He said Thursday that police were still looking for three others who were named in the indictments.

All 14 suspects are believed to have gang affiliations, eight with the Crips, six with the Bloods, Kessell said.

The charges stem from a shootout on April 15 at about 6:30 p.m., when alleged members of the Bloods and Crips street gangs fired shots at one another in and around the 200 block of Jonathan Street, Kessell said.

One juvenile and one man who took part in the shooting sustained nonlife-threatening gunshot wounds, police said shortly after the incident was reported.

Kessell said two houses were hit in the exchange of gunfire. The first floor of one of the houses was hit by several rounds.

He said the second house at 133 W. Bethel St. was hit by 12 to 20 gunshots.

Judge M. Kenneth Long presided over the hearings on Thursday. He retained previously set bonds in some of the cases, while adjusting the bonds in others.

Below is a list of the suspects, their bond amounts and charges that were filed in the indictments:

Corie Tamel Beckett, 23, of 902 Hamilton Blvd. in Hagerstown.
