June 21, 2013

CLEAR SPRING — Two people were injured Thursday night in a two-vehicle accident on westbound Interstate 70 near Clear Spring, authorities said.

The crash involving a Ford Mustang and a van between Clear Spring and the Huyetts Crossroads area was reported at 9:05 p.m., Maryland State Police said.

Westbound traffic had been reduced to one lane at the crash site due to road construction. The other lane was closed for more than two hours after the accident.

There were two patients as a result of the crash, but their injuries appeared to be minor, officials said.
