Two taken to hospital after assault at Hagerstown convenience store

June 20, 2013

Two people were taken to Meritus Medical Center after they were assaulted early Sunday at a convenience store on Dual Highway in Hagerstown, Hagerstown police said.

Lt. Tom Langston said the assault occurred early Sunday, when an argument among several people escalated into a fight at the Sheetz store at 301 E. Washington St.

He said he wasn’t sure how badly the assault victims were injured.

Police have identified suspects, Langston said, but no one had been charged as of Thursday morning.
