Meritus Health

Meritus Health recently launched a new Center for Breast Health.

Led by Medical Director Dr. Kerri Hesley, the new center includes a multidisciplinary team of top-rated specialists, including radiologists, medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, a nurse navigator, psychotherapists, physical therapists and occupational therapists.

Also part of the team are two breast surgeons new to the area — Drs. Susan Kesmodel and Emily Bellavance.

The center offers prevention and screening,  diagnostics, treatment and recovery.



Frederick Air Inc.

INDIANAPOLIS — Frederick Air Inc. of Frederick, Md., was named a 2013 Medal of Excellence award winner by Bryant Heating & Cooling Systems, a supplier of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning equipment.

Frederick Air was one of only 15 Bryant-authorized dealers throughout the United States and Canada to be chosen for the award.

Bryant dealers competing for the Medal of Excellence must obtain a minimum score and then are judged on overall Bryant-branded product sales growth, high-efficiency and indoor air-quality equipment sales, customer satisfaction, and participation in various dealer programs and promotions.



MVB Financial Corp.

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — The board of directors of MVB Financial Corp. recently declared a cash dividend of $0.07 per share to shareholders of record at the close of business on June 1, payable June 17.

On May 15, MVB announced a 38 percent earnings increase for the first quarter of 2013 compared to the same period a year ago.



Pen-Mar Regional Association of Realtors

The Pen-Mar Regional Association of Realtors recently held a free shred event and received donations for Safe Place, Washington County Child Advocacy Center.

Mooch Mutchler, program manager of Safe Place, received the $408 donation from Frank Getz, chairman of the association’s public relations committee. The donation will be used to support the mission of Safe Place, which is committed to reducing the trauma to children in a child-friendly environment through collaborative investigations, therapeutic/medical interventions and criminal prosecutions in child abuse cases.
