Donald Lee Daley, Sr., 78, of Greencastle, Pa., passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at his home.

Born Sunday, Dec. 9, 1934, in Maugansville, Md., he was the son of the late Harry Martin Daley and the late Garnetta Mildred (Smith) Daley.

He attended Hagerstown and Greencastle high schools. He was employed at Grove Manufacturing, retiring in 1986 after 30 years, and later was employed at Cedar Ridge Ministries. He was a member of Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, where he was a member of the Truth Seekers Sunday school class. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge 443, Greencastle, Mason Dixon Historical Society in State Line, Pa., and the Antrim Township Recreation and Park Committee.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Long and husband, Denny, of Clear Spring, Md.; son, Darrin Daley and wife, Michelle, of Greencastle; sister, Arlene Whisner of Hagerstown, Md.; brother, Ronald Daley of Hagerstown; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Daley; and son, Donald Lee Daley Jr.

Services will be held Friday, June 14, 2013, at 11 a.m., at Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, 14010 Greencastle Pike, Hagerstown, with Pastors Len Smith and Stephen Wagoner officiating.

Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, 14010 Greencastle Pike, Hagerstown, MD 21740; or to Lutheran Home and Hospice, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
