Terry L. Moore, 59, of West Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Md., went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 7, 2013, from The Johns Hopkins Hospital of Baltimore, Md., after a brief illness.

Born Feb. 2, 1954, in Butler, Pa., he was the son of Margaret E. (Trimbur) Moore of Butler and the late Kenneth P. Moore.

He was a 1972 graduate of Karns City Area High School.

He was formerly employed with the ARC of Washington County and worked with the GBCS Methodist Group of Washington, D.C.

He was a member of the Greenbrier Baptist Church of Boonsboro, where he served as a deacon and the United Christian Fellowship Church of Keedysville.

Terry was a people person, a great listener and loved the Lord.

He is survived by sisters, Gloria “Jane” Youngblood of Hagerstown and Pamela E. Miller and husband, Rich, of Petrolia, Pa.; nephews, Matthew Miller and Mark Miller of Petrolia, Pa.; great-nephew, Hayden Miller; several aunts, one uncle, cousins and his pals, Jack and Millie.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Greenbrier Baptist Church with Pastors George Snyder and  Jimmy Wells officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the AWANA programs of either Greenbrier Baptist Church at 20810 National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713, or United Christian Fellowship Church, 18823 Shepherdstown Pike, Keedysville, MD 21756.
