Richard Dearmont Vincent, 66, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away May 17, 2013, at Winchester Medical Center.

Born Oct. 9, 1946, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of the late Oliver Vincent, and Frances and William Grimes.

He was a graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He was a past employee of DOT Foods, Garden State Tanning, Handy and Harman, and Hills Chevron.

He is survived by his children, Tammy Vincent of Middleton, Idaho, William Vincent of Fort Edward, N.Y., Angela Vincent of Pittsburgh, Pa., Cheryl Phipps of Franklin, Wis., and grandchildren, Frederick Hofmeister III, Luke Campbell, Oleander Kosy, Eric Phipps and Casey Phipps. He is also survived by his first wife and mother of his children, Linda Stiles, and his half brother, Arnold Vincent.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. at Harman, Kenworthy & Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown, with a reception to follow. The Rev. J. Collin Poston will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the Marine Corps League of Hagerstown. Interment will be private.
