CLEAR SPRING — At the May 31 senior awards assembly, the Clear Spring High School Class of 1963 presented a $3,900 check to the school for the purchase of 10 iPads and accessories.

As part of the alumni’s observance of its 50th reunion, the class decided it wanted to express its gratitude to Clear Spring High School and its faculty for the investment they made in their education and their future.

One need that was identified by Principal James Aleshire was the purchase of 10 iPads.

It seems there was a need for 20, but only a budget for 10.

The members of the CHS Class of 1963 generously contributed to the cause, and on May 31 presented Aleshire with a check for $3,900.

It is hoped that this will be the beginning of a trend, whereby other classes, past and future, will follow this example.
