Little Heiskell Duplicate Bridge Club posts Worldwide Bridge Contest results

Fourteen pairs competed Friday, June 7, in a Worldwide Bridge Contest conducted during a meeting of the Little Heiskell Duplicate Bridge Club. The game was ranked overall at the club level, but additionally the results will be compared with all those competing worldwide.

 In the local overalls, David Abuhove and Bob Byrd finished first in the A stratum with a 57.14-pecent game. Tied for second place in Flight A and first place in Flight B with a 55.95-percent game were Linda Donley and Chuck Meister and David Rife and Bob Back. Willa Garner and Elaine Rowe placed fourth in Flight A with 55.06 percent, and Ray and Sym Gallucci came in 5th in Flight A with 53.57 percent. Pat Newbold and David Bort were third in Flight B with 48.81 percent.

 In the East/West direction, Emma Eaton and Ron Clawson were third in Flight A with 52.68 percent, and Bruch and Aurora McDonough were second in Flight B with 47.92 percent.
